A research lab located inside University Health Network under the direction of Dr. Ian Connell. We focus on MRI innovation and building MRI-guided therapy systems. Our interests also extend to multi-modal imaging physics and design of electromedical devices.
Embedded in Canada's #1 Hospital and the World's #3 Publicly-Funded Hospital, we operate from the heart of the country's largest hospital-based Biomedical Engineering Department. With presence in all three pillars of UHN: Corporate, Clinical and Research, we have a unique perspective and focus on applied research questions. We forge meaningful clinical partnerships to direct our research toward immediate patient care.
